i had my 2nd prenatal appointment today and 2nd ultrasound. i always breathe a sigh of relief to see that heartbeat flicker on the ultrasound. i am 10 weeks and was so surprised to see little arms and legs moving around this early on the screen. i could even see tiny tiny feet. it's amazing.

i think i am the most excited i have been so far to be pregnant. don't misunderstand, i was excited about meeting abbey and tucker, but i feel different this time. with the 1st pregnancy everything was new and i didn't know what to expect. i mostly stayed distracted with how much i did not enjoy being pregnant. with tucker, i felt a little more excitement but i knew we'd have a 2nd baby and i was preoccupied with how abbey would handle a sibling and sharing attention. but this time it feels different. i think i'm finally feeling what most of my friends (and especially my sister!) felt about being pregnant. i won't say that i love pregnancy now, but i am really happy that we are able to do it one last time. (yes, with this being my 3rd c-section, it really will be my last pregnancy. over 3 scares me even though i know plenty of people do it just fine!)

so here is baby number 3. scheduled to arrive june 24th 2013.
