yesterday we found ourselves with a pretty open day and the weather was amazing. one of the pluses to living in texas is the mild and often warm winters. for example, yesterday and today were beautiful sunny days with the highs in the 70s while our poor family in pennsylvania suffers through endless snow. anyway, we took advantage of the day and headed to auditorium shores for some outside time and then made our way to south congress for lunch and a stop by hey cupcake. all in all, it was great way to spend a thursday :) have i mentioned how thankful i am for gregg's flexible work schedule lately? um, it's pretty amazing having him off during random days of the week-even if it means he works most saturdays.
