it's still hot outside. at 7pm last night it was still at 100+ degrees. we are starting to feel like the heat is imprisoning us in our home. thank goodness for a/c!

after a busy morning at church and a lazy afternoon at home yesterday we decided to head downtown to a splash pad with intentions of getting sno cones across the street. unfortunately, we didn't come with cash so the sno cones were a no go but abbey still had fun. i'd like to take her back to this park during the week when it's hopefully less full of older kids.
