a few years ago i rediscovered the glory of the public library and it was been wonderful ever since. last week i picked up a book i had on hold-Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda. oh.my.goodness. this book was incredible. i read it in 1.5 days and was so sad when it was over.
it tells the story of a indian girl's adoption alternating between the point of view of her birth parents and adoptive and then eventually her own. i could not put it down and i highly recommend reading it if you have the chance.
now, i'm looking for something a little less emotional and a little more light hearted to read.
