12 weeks, 3 days..

definitely a baby. seeing this yesterday was such a strange feeling-it is hard to describe. even though i was laying there and the ultrasound wand was on my stomach and no one else's, it still felt like it was someone else's life i was watching. i don't know when this starts to feel like reality but yesterday was the closest i've gotten so far. it's amazing how much you can see at only 12 weeks. you can't really see it in the picture but we could see it's legs and feet and toes, it's arms and hands waving around and even it's brain developing. so strange and so amazing. i am having a heard time realizing that what is on the picture is inside my body. ha, i don't think i'll actually realize it completely until i have the baby in my hands. of course, now more than ever, i want to know the sex!

this weekend is my sister's wedding! i am driving down later on today for the rehearsal and dinner and then tomorrow is the actual wedding. i know they will be both be so happy and relieved when tomorrow evening comes and goes and they are on their way to florida.

for some reason, i am awake at 6:30 this morning for no reason at all. i guess i might as well start packing.
