hooray for fall..not inflatables..

i don't think i've ranted about my disdain for inflatable yard decor enough lately. so here it goes.

why do people spend HUNDREDS of dollars on giant, larger than real life, inflatable tackiness?? why? last weekend when we were in alvin i looked across the street from the church and saw something horrible. first of all, no person (in my opinion) should EVER decorate their yard for halloween. it's not a holiday, stop trying to make it one. you especially should not purchase an inflatable house with ghosts rotating around inside of it and stick it in your yard. you also should not cover your yard and trees in "spiderwebs" and place giant plastic spiders everywhere. seriously, how could this ever be considered a good idea?

i don't get it but i hate it. today i was in the mall and took a detour through sears to get the escalator and was really annoyed to see inflatable santas already out..ugh...

what's next? i'm afraid it may be to a giant inflatable cross for easter. i would cry.

anyway.

the weather is great today. i LOVE it. it's not really cold but it's breezy and cool and under 80 degrees. woo-hoo! i wonder how long it will last, i need to check the weather to find out i suppose.
