before and after

a couple of months ago we decided we wanted to change up the look of our living room a little to have some brighter and more interesting colors/patterns. i've always liked our living room decor but we've had the same paintings and colors since we got married. we would still like to find a rug and i need to find (or make?!) some new throw pillows but for the mos part it's finished and has been for quite awhile now :)

gregg repainted canvas and we changed up the fireplace decor to match. we also pushed that
giant recliner backinto the corner more which makes the room feel MUCH larger.

we also got new curtains and removed the vertical blinds over our patio door and hung curtains over it instead. i like it much better.

now we just have a blank wall in our bedroom to cover with something...
