day 9: a picture of your friends

these girls have been in my life for quite some time. we have grown up together and have some how managed to stay close 10 years post high school. they are the kind of friends who will get together, load up their own kids (one being 4 weeks old) to drive 6 hours to see your newborn when she's 4 days old. i am beyond grateful for these girls.

this is my friend kathy. kathy and i met and were roommates in college. she was good friends with my college boyfriend and while that relationship (obviously!) ended some time ago, thankfully kathy and i's friendship has only gotten stronger. she has a son that is a few months younger than abbey and we've decided that they should some day marry. i would be more than happy for abbey to have such wonderful in-laws :)

i've also made some wonderful, Godly friends since moving to austin 3.5 years ago. sadly,i am pathetic at taking pictures and have none to show of them :(
