i don't do well in large groups and i was reminded of this last night. i get lost in the crowd and intimidated by the great number of people. i'm much more of one on one or small group person. anyway.





today gregg and i both had the day off. our "luxury" apartment complex has been doing unnecessary remodeling for the past 4 months now and today they were resurfacing the walkway floors-for the second time. this meant we were trapped either in or out of our apartment for 6 hrs this morning-for the second time. we choose to be trapped in this time because last time we picked out and that got annoying. anyway-we had lots of time trapped in our home and decided to do some cleaning. so we pulled everything out of the closets and trashed alot of things:

it feels quite nice to have all clean and organized closet space again :) also, this week gregg is FINALLY becoming a legal texas driver. he registered his car yesterday and tomorrow he gets his new license. thank goodness! this is a result of me getting pulled over on saturday b/c the cop thought i had stolen our car. LONG story but in the end he realized that i did in fact own that car. it's been a productive week.

in other news-i've officially decided to become a teacher. i'm applying to the certification program through the region here. unfortunately, i will not start this process until january :( but i feel good about making the decision and am just ready to have a real job with a semi-decent salary. it's pretty sad when a teacher's salary is enticing to you-just gives you an idea of what the non-profit world can pay.
